[Brother whines] [Doc Brown] My feelings exactly! Hello Bloggineers. This is the Museum of the Arroyo Day, and our first stop is the Gamble House. This event lets the public into six museums in LA in Pasadena, free of charge.
Built in 1908, the Gamble House is best known as Doc Brown's mansion in Back to the Future. We're getting a stamp for our Passport 2 History here. This program unites together many historical and cultural venues in Southern, California. Now we're looking at some Back to the Future merchandise for sale. We're waiting in line to go inside the Gamble House and here comes Doc Brown. [Doc Brown] Here. [Doc Brown] We got to documentation for the future. [Brother whines] [Doc Brown] My feelings exactly! We're going in the house now and no photography is allowed. We're putting on covers over our shoes and entering the building Casinoslots New Zealand . Don't forget to turn off your camera. The tour went by really fast because they rushed us today because of the huge crowds. So we'll have to come back another time. Come on, Brother. Let's get to the DeLorean. Fire up the flux capacitor and let's go to the next destination. Our next stop is the Los Angeles Police Museum. Open in 2001, the museum displaced a rich history of the LAPD from its 1969 beginnings. Brother climbed on a police motorcycle. This exhibit shows the infamous armed robbery in Hollywood. We're looking at more displays including this police lineup. Now we're going to the jail cell and a police officer put Brother and I in handcuffs. Then we're taking our booking photoss. Brother, you look way too happy to be going to jail. You got a pose like this. Reality hits brother now that he's behind bars, and he's not happy. [Brother] This is the last room I'm going! We got released from jail and now we're getting to the chopper. We're flying to our next destination. We're at the Southwest Museum of the American Indian. This is the very... [Brother] First museum of... This is...STOP! This is the very first museum in LA. Constructed in 1914 , this museum contains one of the largest and most significant collections of Native American materials in the US. [Brother] Now we're going to do a scavenger hunt about the museum. Brother is checking off the items on the list as he finds them. One of the objects was tricky, but Brother spotted it. [Brother] Oooooh! We completed the activity, turned in our sheets, and receive our prizes. [Brother] I got this cool puzzle thing. Our last stop of the day is the Loomis house and Brother's so tired that he's taking a nap in the car. Built from 1898 to 1910, this house is comprised of intricately placed stones acquired from a nearby stream bed. Mr. Loomis also founded the Southwest Museum that we just went to. This typewriter instructs us to take a picture. This bathroom is closed to the public and so is the upstairs. We had so much fun at the Museums of the Arroyo Day.
